Orange Delta is expanding the team in Singapore and looking for a PROJECT ENGINEER who can support the team with the engineering and execution of our offshore energy projects.

Role and Responsibility

For the role of Project Engineer, you will be mainly responsible for:

  • Method Statements
  • Mobilization Plans and related drawings
  • Inspection Plans
  • Task Plans
  • Site supervision / management
  • Offshore field / project engineer

Inspections and Asset / Equipment related consultancy:

  • Equipment / Vessel suitability or condition inspection
  • Site Supervision and Subcontractor Management
  • Offshore field / project engineer

Further activities may include (not limited to):

  • Support in development of feasibility studies (multi-discipline); technical and commercial
  • Writing of Specifications
  • Writing of Scope of work
  • RFQ preparation (request for quotation)
  • Review of proposals (technical and commercial, as applicable)
  • Drafting, supporting method statements and task plans
  • Liaise with and provide support to (overseas) clients or teams
  • Review of internal or external engineering deliverables
  • Project close outs, lessons learned
  • Publish technical / white papers
  • Participate in network events, attend relevant exhibitions and conferences
  • R&D projects
  • Document control, as applicable
  • On-site work, as applicable


  • Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Structural / Mechanical or Civil Engineering (others can be considered)
  • Good command of English, verbal and in writing


  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar role within the offshore industry such as subsea pipeline, cable, or structure installation; experience with crossing designs and method would be advantageous
  • Offshore exposure, as part of offshore projects and mobilizations
  • Structural fabrication management and inspection (grillage, sea fastening, etc.)
  • Familiar with industry / marine codes, standards, and design guidelines


  • Proficient in MSOffice or Office365 skills (outlook, excel, word)
  • AutoCAD and / or solidworks (intermediate or advanced) or equivalent
  • Organized, and able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication

  • Thorough in research (background research, evaluation of pros & cons, explore the industry standards, etc)
  • Motivated to work on topics outside of job description, in line with the direction of the business
  • Able and Willing to follow courses (either arranged by the company or on your initiative)
  • Open to raise and receive constructive feedback to the team
  • Demonstrate initiative and suggest new ideas or areas of improvements
  • Technical in nature, but also commercially aware
  • Flexible in working hours
  • Willing to travel overseas or offshore, when required
  • Represents and acts in the best interest of the company
