PACKAGE MANAGEMENT

Orange Delta provides package management support to owners, typically for new build vessels and equipment that is used for the marine & offshore industry.

Large projects (on- and offshore) are normally not manageable by a single project manager. In order to be able to oversee the design, procurement, fabrication and delivery, it can be decided to package (or split) the project in more manageable sub-projects.

A package manager is, next to being a project manager, more technically hands on as well. A package manager typically takes care of (but is not limited to):

  • Manage delivery of the design specifications
  • Scope of Work definition
  • Manage the RFQ process
  • Contract Management
  • Scheduling
  • Budget and Cost Control
  • Site Management
  • Subcontractor Management
  • Arrange for Inspections
  • Factory Acceptance Test
  • Site Acceptance Test
